Algerian tourism: The sector that is just waiting to be awakened.

“Set up the sector as an economic alternative for the development of the country”, this declaration became the sexy sentence of each Minister of Tourism, in Algeria.  For at least ten years, the successive officials at the head of the Ministry of Tourism have constantly reaffirmed the hope of the public authorities to revive the sector for the development and diversification of an economy to reduce the dependence on hydrocarbons.
